1. What This Covers

This policy explains what data ApexGenie.dev collects when you use the site, why, and how you can ask for it to be removed. ApexGenie.dev does not require an account, login, or payment to use.

2. Code Generation Prompts

When you submit a prompt to generate Apex, a test class, or a Lightning Web Component, the text of your prompt is sent to OpenAI via Netlify's AI Gateway solely to produce a response. ApexGenie.dev does not store your prompts or the generated code in a database — each request is stateless. Do not paste secrets, credentials, or data you are not authorized to share with a third-party AI service. OpenAI's and Netlify's own privacy policies govern how they each handle data that passes through their systems.

3. Analytics

This site uses Netlify's built-in analytics (Real User Monitoring) to measure page performance and traffic, such as page loads and Core Web Vitals. This is aggregate technical data used to keep the site fast and working — it is not used to build advertising profiles, and is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

ApexGenie.dev does not store your prompts or generated code. Analytics data is retained by Netlify according to Netlify's own data retention practices. To ask a question about your data, contact us using the details in Section 6.

5. Children's Privacy

ApexGenie.dev is a developer tool not directed at children, and is not knowingly used to collect data from children under 13.
